Nautical Nursery
A few months ago I painted these cute owls for my friend's daughter's room. Now she is expecting another baby and asked me to paint these letters for the nursery. I think these turned out even better than I'd hoped for. I hope Baby Ashton and his mommy will like them just as much as I do!

Fall is in the air...somewhere
***See below for a special deal!***
Some of you may be lucky enough to live somewhere that actually feels like fall. Now, Texas has a very special place in my heart, but I'm just tired of the heat and dreaming of fall. So I painted pumpkins.
Now here's where it gets good. Until the end of October I'm offering these 2 paintings for just $15 each! These are 8"x10" canvases. You can change the colors or the words. If you'd like to order please email creativeatheartart@yahoo.com or send me a message on facebook.
Have a wonderful fall...whether you're bundled up in a jacket or still sweating in shorts!

Nursery Penguins
Aren't these little guys cute?! I had a lot of fun painting them. These penguins are for my friend, Sharon. She's expecting a baby in November and asked me to paint these for her nursery. Sharon and I go waaaaaay back to 6th grade. We used to ride our bikes together at the park and compete to see who got the best grades (she beat me!). We even built a castle out of sugar cubes for a class project once. Good memories! Anyway, thanks for the order, Sharon! I look forward to hearing all about your little one.

All-Star Baby
My mother-in-law ordered this as a gift for some friends who recently had a baby. They have a baseball-themed nursery, and since they already had Austin's name on one wall I thought something other than just his name on the canvas would be nice. I snooped around Molly's Pinterest page and came up with this idea. Congrats, Daniel and Molly!
By the way, Molly is a photographer in the Midland area. If you live around there and need someone to take great pictures of your family (she took some of us last year), you should definitely check her out!

Meng Family Rules
My cousin, Jaclyn, requested a family rules canvas like this one I painted a few months back. She requested a couple changes, most notably the red border. I think it makes it "pop!"
Thanks, Jaclyn, for the order! I hope your family enjoys it for years to come!

Teacher Gifts
When the chevron pattern first started popping up everywhere a couple years ago I wasn't a fan. It seemed too trendy. Well, I guess it eventually rubbed off on me cause now I really like it! It's so crisp and clean but not boring.
These little 8x10s are $25 and the perfect size to hang on a door. If you're interested in ordering more than 1 so that you have gifts for all the teachers you're buying for let me know and I'll work out a discount!
By the way, I know summer isn't the time for ordering teacher gifts, but I hope you'll keep me in mind when the time rolls around again! Thanks!

A bushel and a peck
Please pardon the bad lighting for this picture. I was snapping it during a thunderstorm before I ran out the door to deliver the canvas.
This is for my friend, Terri. She asked me to paint this quote for her little boy's room because she sings the song to him. Funny thing is I sing this song to Ezra, too!
Aggie Family Name Canvas
My friend Alicia loved her family name canvas so much that she decided to order one for her daughter for an early anniversary gift. Her daughter and son-in-law are both Texas A&M Aggies, so she thought these colors would be fitting. I heard they love it! Happy Anniversary, Kingsleys!

Family Rules
My friend, Melissa, asked me if I could paint a family rules sign similar to the ones floating around on Pinterest and at Hobby Lobby. Of course! I hope Melissa and her family will enjoy this for many years to come. Thanks, Melissa!
You are loved
This is another painting for Rebecca, who ordered the first Elf painting last fall. She came to me with this idea for her daughter's room. I think it turned out really cute, and hopefully it will transition well as her daughter moves from a little girl's room to a teenager's room. Thanks, Rebecca!

Dover
This is a family name canvas that I just finished for my friend, Alicia. Alicia heads up the women's ministry at our church. I've been blessed to get to know her a little bit over the past few months and she is such a nice person to know! She has a beautiful smile and is someone I look up to. She and her husband will celebrate their 30th anniversary this summer! Happy early anniversary, Alicia, and thanks for the order!

Family Name Canvas Sale!
Hi, friends! I've got a deal for you today! I'm as caught up on
housework as I'm going to get after the holidays and before my tax
season craziness begins. What does that have to do with you? Well, it
means I'm itching for an excuse to paint and I'm willing to make a
deal! For one week only - until January 16 - I'll offer 20% off of any
family name canvases. Like this one I made for my sister:
You pick the size, the colors, the font. It can have wording like this one or it can say "The _____ Family" and you can add your first names across the bottom if you like.
Do you know a couple planning to get married in the coming months? This would be a one-of-a-kind wedding gift!
Let me know if you're interested!

Ava & Avaree
I painted this for my niece, Ava. Her room is decorated with purple, black and white.
This was my first time painting zebra print. I think it turned out pretty cute!
